Screw-in steel frame, not a pop-up. The patented threaded poles hold the shape under pushing and pulling; it goes together in about 10 to 15 minutes.
Durable safety covers. Padded covers over the joints and anti-slip suction feet keep the long sides stable on hard floors.
Mesh on every side, zip door. Full visibility from anywhere in the room and an easy door for crawling in and out.

Worth it for the peace of mind!!

Fantastic size. Decently sturdy. Assembly takes some time (it was a little hard getting the last pieces together but that’s the way these things go) when tension is required) but it went together well and fast!! The pull up rings are super helpful for the little one the balls are a fun toy to chase around inside the playpen. Very happy!!
